17’ Skiff Rental – Your Own Adventure on the Water

Perfect for fishing trips, scenic cruises, lighthouse excursions, or sandbar stops! Our 17’ skiff is available for full-day rentals, launched and ready at a local boat ramp or private dock of your choice.

  • Max Capacity: 4 people or 800 lbs, whichever is less

  • Rental Boat Fishing License Included – No need to purchase your own!

  • Equipped with: 9.9 HP outboard motor, tiller steering, electric start, manual trim, and required safety equipment.

  • Town Point Landing (East River): $220/day

  • Davis Creek (New Point Comfort Lighthouse access): $240/day

  • Hole in the Wall Ramp (Milford Haven): $220/day

  • Mobjack Bay Marina (North River): $175/day

  • Warehouse Landing (Ware River): $220/day

  • Residential Dockside Delivery (Mathews County): $275/day*

Oyster Tonging Experience

Step back in time and try your hand at traditional oyster tonging—a centuries-old method of harvesting oysters. This experience is only available during the public oyster season, typically from October through March. Guests can recreationaly harvest oysters under strict regulations while learning about the bay’s rich oyster heritage.​

  • Up to 1 bushel of oysters allowed per guest

  • Oystering is highly regulated—let us serve as your professional guide

Access Waterfowl Hunting Blinds and Properties

Backwater Expeditions LLC provides boat transportation to public duck hunting blinds, giving waterfowl hunters a convenient way to access prime locations.
